What is it?

Tour-de-Grape is the most adventurous way to visit Michigan Wine Country! It is a leisurely bike ride through the gently rolling hills, vineyards, and orchards of Southwest Michigan. A knowledgeable tour guide will lead the pack for the entire day.

What should we expect?

You will join others who are looking to have a good time as well, so be prepared to socialize! We normally limit tours to 12 people max. You will have time for wine tasting, guided cellar tours, gift shopping, and to sit down and relax a bit. You will be outside most of the day, so dress according to weather forecasts! This tour is designed for the leisure rider—total bike riding is approximately 10 miles.

Where do we meet at?

Start and end you day at the Fruitful Vine bike depot located at Gravity, the area’s newest winery! The address is 10220 Lauer Road, Baroda, MI 49101.

How long of a day is it?

The Tour starts at 11:00 (you should arrive 20 minutes early to get fitted with your bike), and we usually return sometime between 4:00 and 5:00 depending on the size of the group and how busy the wineries are.

Which Wineries do we visit?

The itinerary varies from day to day based on customer feedback, events that are going on, and your Tour Guide’s preference. We normally visit a couple that are large and very well known and a couple that are fairly new and maybe a little smaller.

What's included in the Tour Fee?

A well maintained bike and helmet
Souvenir water bottle
An awesome Tour Guide who doubles as a photographer and personal assistant
Tasting fees and/or souvenir wine glasses at all the wineries
Roadside assistance in case of a flat tire, or if you just want a break
Wine pickup and delivery back to your car

What is not included in the Tour Fee?

Lunch is paid for on your own, plan on somewhere between $5 and $15 per person
Tour Guide gratuity…it’s not required, but definitely appreciated!!!

What is your cancelation policy?

We hope you never need to cancel, but if you do, a refund will be given up until 30 days from your tour. Within 30 days of your tour, NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN. The tour is only canceled in dangerous weather, in which case you will receive a full refund. Rain does not stop us!
